Make Me a Tent Kit
This simple, sturdy, flexible, and storable tent kit has brought endless joy to my daughter. She's had countless hours of 'tent time' but never called out, "Dad, the tent fell." This has led to her newfound sense of independence, as she can now set up the tent independently. It's so simple to set up that now she asks me, 'Dad, can I set up the tent?'... ABSOLUTELY!

Story
As the father of a six-year-old daughter, I continually heard a call from the other room: "Dad, can you make me a tent?". Of course, I did, and I would begin my hunt around the house for pillows, sheets, and clips to build the tent. After I raided pillows from bedrooms, found a suitable sheet or blanket, and scoured the pantry to get chip clips off the bags of chips, I would get the tent built. About 15 minutes later, I inevitably heard, "Dad, a pillow fell. Can you fix it?".... which I would.... again.... and again.
One day, during a trip to a big box home improvement store, I decided to see what I could find to build a simple, sturdy, and flexible tent for my daughter. After many iterations of the tent kit, which includes piping, fittings, and clips, and careful evaluation of numerous manufacturers and wholesalers for the components, I finally came up with the version you see here.
